the casefile still needs to go through

--final review (1 to 3 weeks)

--appointment setting (not sure, at all for Manila)

--casefile sent over to Manila IV unit (1 to 2 weeks)

So, soonish, you'll know something, maybe -

if NVC sends out aapointment letters via email, for Manila IV, then you'll know, firstly, from that appointment letter.

Congtratulations! Please keep us updated with your progress, interview appointment and stuff. I just mailed NVC my husband's DS-230 on the 19th, they entered it into the system on the 21st. I hope they work on it as fast as they did with your case! My husband did his medical at St. Luke's on the 21st, I think, and everything was ok (thank God!), so you can go ahead and do your medical as soon as you can, if you want. You don't have to wait for an appointment to do that. It's good for 6months, and I don't think your interview will take that long to be scheduled anyway, so you should be fine!

I hope they work on it as fast as they did with your case! My husband did his medical at St. Luke's on the 21st, I think, and everything was ok (thank God!), so you can go ahead and do your medical as soon as you can, if you want. You don't have to wait for an appointment to do that. It's good for 6months, and I don't think your interview will take that long to be scheduled anyway, so you should be fine!

No, you don't have to wait for the appointment letter for that. St. Luke's does walk-ins. Just bring a copy of your NOA2 and a letter with your NVC case #, like AOS/IV barcode sheet, and they'll let you in.

Yes, that'll do. As long as it has the NVC case # on it. That's what my husband showed to St. Luke's, and they let him do his medical.
