Hey congrats

Just to clarify, it's the applicant who sets the appointment for the medical and the interview.

When you call for your appointment and give the agent an e-mail address, s/he will send you an e-mail confirming the interview date and time, plus a link to the K1 visa instructions on the US Embassy Manila website.

In CR1/IR1 process it is the NVC that sets the interview date. You set the medical appointment yourself; the medical exam has to be completed and you must have your interview requirements ready well before your interview date.

thanks for the info.. yaps... im trying to call my husband right now to clarify some things with him... how can i know about the nvc processing if it is a no or yes? coz my hubby called nvc last sept 3 the operator say it in their system na.. and he call again last sept 22 and the operator says the case is complete last sept 18...

did you husband have these documents and yer civil documents prior to 2 SEP 2010 ?

yah darnell... i already did the ds-3032( choice of agent) before coz i was the agent myself.. and already submitted the ds-230 last august 20 at the nvc and the operator says they receive it last sept 3.

i mailed/submitted the ds-230 together with the documents required like birth certificate, marriage certificate, 2-passport photos, photocopy of biographical page of my passport, nbi and police clearance
