Jess I agree with Dawn it is great that they took the application and gave you the interview immediately. Will continue to remember you and hope the waiver issue is resolved in short time.

That is Awsome Jess. Hopefully you will hear something before the 6 months. The thing is what you are going to hear it that you need to file the waivers and that is when you will take them to the embassy and they will send them to athens.

Unfortunatly they have had mine for almost a month now and they said they will be sending it on Friday. Good Luck.

Yep its smooth sailin from here LOL NOT.....but thats okay i have the waiver about half done, but of course i will have to type it up and to rearrange some things.....but id say words are coming really easy and im not finding any trouble writing it. Based on the fact that i am here in Lebanon ive been told by a select 'few' that it will make my waiver process more difficult....i am not finding any problems giving them hardships based on me being here and not in the USA.....

today at the interview the guy said 'now at some point it will be necessary for you to return to the US and wait for him to come' he left and came back and i said 'now when you say leave Lebanon how long between do you say it is required that i am gone before he is able to return to the US?' He said 'this is a long process and i am guessing it is going to take about a year to fully complete' so i said 'its better then the 10yr bar and i am planning on staying by my husbands side until this mess if figured out i am not going back to the US until i can take my husband with me, i dont want to be without him!' he smiled and nodded......lol

Now we just wait LOL

The 1 year thing, just so you don't get your hopes up and get dissapointed is highly Unlikely. I sent an e-mail to athens to find out there processing time and they told me 6-9 months. But people through there are taking about a year. I also noticed from time frames they give in embassy in lebanon that you usually have to double the time they give you. Lebanese standard time..LOL.
