Today 24th September, have been here 3 weeks tomorrow and went to get SS number today and all went well. Gave him the form I downloaded off net took my marriage certificate and passport with visa ihn it. Had no issues at all will get card in 2 weeks but can ring on Monday if I need the number for anything. The young man was so polite to my husband and I.

I applied for it in my married name also and it was no problem.

We live in Augusta Georgia and this morning I was reading what some had been through to get their number and was worried but it was too easy. Yay!!!!!

They do say to wait 2 weeks before applying as you will not be in the system yet from when you arrived, and today he had to look something up from Homeland security and there I was lol

It's all good doing 485 as of next week getting it all together now.

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month
