hi there :)

i'm new here and dunno anything about getting a tourist visA but i will be applying for a visa next month.

my fiance will be coming out here for us to get married (civil wedding) in december this year and a church wedding here in the philippines too on 2012. the plan is i will be flying in the US with him in january 2011, have a small celebration there with his family and friends coz some might not be able to come down here in 2012.

i plan to stay there for a month just to spend time with his family and friends and yep, visit some of my relatives too while am still there.

i need to come back after a month coz i have a shop to open and a farm/resort to run. and in the last quarter of 2011, he will go down here and stay here for good. it's not that i don't wanna live in america, but i have so many responsibilities here in the Philippines.

will they grant my visa? what are my chances?

thank you

Sound like you have a good "properties background", meaning that it sounds like you can prove to the Consul that you have enough ties there to go back to your Country, that it's basically what they will look for so when you apply for the visa, send as much evidence of your job stability, properties titles, bank statements, marriage plans, etc, anything that will prove that you will have to go back, if your future husband it's an US citizen/Permanent Resident, ask him to make a letter explaining all this plans and intentions and ask him to get it Notarized... it will aslo help you if people from his family, yours, friends, etc (in the US) sign notarized declarations (affidavits) also stating the intentions of you two; if he is here illegaly, don't even mention him and work around it with your "properties background"...

Good luck!!
