Hey Guys,

This is my first post since we got married. We are about to sent ou AOS package. But we have a question about the payment.

Since we are submiting everything I-765, I-485, I-864 and the Biometrics, my question is: DO we send FOUR money order checks or just ONE with the total amount as they are all payed to the Homeland Security Departament?

Thank you

Caleb and Frida

I sent four personal checks... one attached to each application, That way if there was a problem with one application they would not have to reject the whole packet....

Personal checks are better because you will know as soon as they have been cashed and will get the REF # off the back, so you can check your case on-line before you get the NOA...

Good Luck and congrats on your wedding...

Wait, where did the four checks come from? If you are submitting for AOS and EAD then there should be only two checks. One for AOS in the amount of $395 (to cover the $325 AOS and then $70 Biometrics) and then a second check for $180 for the EAD. You only pay for Biometrics one time, not twice for both AOS and EAD, and the I-864 doesn't have any fee attached to it.

Edited to add that this is how I submitted my checks and they were cashed with no problems, we will be having our Biometrics for both AOS and EAD on Tuesday.

You would send one check for the I-485, one check for the Biometrics, one check for the I-765 and then another check for the I-131 (AP if you are applying for it). There is no fee for the Affidavit of Support (I-864).
