Yeah I just had another look at the CSC timelines and in the past 25 days only 6 VJ petitions have been approved! Ugh it's ridiculous and frustrating!

Yeah, and none of them were June/July right?

I'm not sure why they'd be on July yet, when not even all May filers have gotten approvals/RFE's, suggesting they haven't been looked at yet. I don't mean that in a snide way, but I'm just suggesting it wouldn't make sense. Tomorrow will be 4 months since we filed, and we haven't heard anything since a June 7th touch.

I still check USCIS, but I don't do so with the eager hope I did in the first couple months... I just check it to see if it's changed, and when it hasn't, I continue on with my day. I find doing things really does help. I know it sounds lame and whatnot, but really - keeping myself busy does help. Don't get me wrong... I still want to send my fiance to Laguna Niguel (CSC) to make sure it ACTUALLY still exists and has not disappeared... but I'm trying not to let the wait run my life like I was letting it a month or so ago. I just can't obsess over it anymore. It'll be approved when it's approved, and in the meantime, I'm going to go absolutely insane if I allow it to have that effect.

Thinking about wedding stuff/the future helps. It doesn't matter that we don't know when that future will FOR SURE be... just looking at wedding stuff, and looking around for stuff to do in my future new state (california), and looking on the school board websites for prospective jobs and such... I like to focus on that stuff. I know it's hard when the future seems to be at a standstill, but it won't be forever, and by the time your visa comes around, you will already have lots of great ideas for your future together. (I think I just possibly just broke the world record for use of the word "future" in one paragraph haha)

Anyway, good luck to everyone, and here's to hoping CSC starts to pump out some approvals!!

I wasn't suggesting they'd look at my application before yours, I was just saying they should be on June/July soon (while maybe not all of May has been approved, according to people on VJ most have gotten their NOA2s by now). I'm like you, I'm sort of in between months. We filed June 30th and the NOA1 was July 7th.

It's not personal - they very well could look at June/July filers before they get to our petition, including yours! It has nothing to do with that... there seems to be no rhyme or reason to CSC these days.... it just depends... someone's background check could take longer than another persons... or maybe some people frontloaded their application by sending in a 9 pound petition with 500 photos and 6 years worth of emails, phone records, skype, texts, and greeting cards, and that's probably going to take longer to sift through. It also probably depends on the speed of the adjudicator... there's bound to be faster and slower workers.

I guess my point was... the wait sucks, but if we can focus on something else, it makes it a little more bearable.... hopefully everyone will get their NoA2s soon, but just by looking at the past month of approvals.... that's not likely to happen.

Look on the bright side.... at least London is a fairly quick consulate and once you get NOA2, it will most likely go more quickly.

I hope so, but then again...the CSC seems to have stopped at the moment so who knows if our petition will ever get there haha.

I wish I could focus on something else, but he's all I think about every moment of every day. We're in constant contact (as I'm sure everyone else is). We haven't gone longer than four hours without speaking for a year now. I know it will happen, but there isn't a big enough distraction in the world to make this wait easier.

If you filed in June it's only been three months. We filed in April, received our NOA1 a few days later, and haven't heard anything since. The processing times are approximately five months and we are just a few days short of that as of today. If we don't hear anything by the first or second week in October, I will call someone. I don't know why some people just skate through, while others wait. But your time will come. Just be patient. Good luck to you.

We filed at the very beginning of June. They received our petition on June 7th. We received an NOA1 with no instructions and we have not received an RFE or anything else. The only and last time it shows our file was touched on their site is June 10th. The USCIS timelines for Vermont show 5 months from start to finish for an I-129f/K-1. This is driving us nuts not knowing where we stand who to contact, or if anything has been done with our paperwork. Many others who filed around the time we did, and even some after, have gone straight through. Some even already have their visas and are planning their trips to the US. We have heard nothing and it just doesn't seem fair.

I am with all of you.. As one poster stated, it is about 90% of people on VisaJourney waiting for NOA2.. My NOA1 was received and dated (hard copy) June 2nd and has been touched twice (last time August 17)! We both are so frustrated and anxious.. Now I read after 9 months of waiting one poster received an RFE.. What is going on with all this? I've called California and they said until is reached the 5 month mark, there is nothing they can do.. Good luck to all of us..

7 months tomorrow and I was informed on 9-21-10 I will be receiving an RFE in the mail soon. At least something is moving forward. Just worried about what they are looking for. I am already married? Can't wait to see what they want.

UGH be patient it's all you can do. Oh and start a file with everthing you've done so far.

Same here, I stopped obsessing over it and it kind of got easier to wait. I try to keep busy and really not think so much about it. I think I got pretty good at this waiting game LOL but then today I lost it! I was talking to 2 of my friends online and they both asked me if I had heard anything new... at the exact same time! I really got frustrated and just wanted to scream or break something haha. I just wish people would stop asking because I really don't have the answers to their questions. I wish I knew how long it is gonna take but I don't :(
