Hi everybody, :star:

The P3 received, the French embassy asks me to fill some other forms.

The embassy wants me to fill the DS-156 online and gives me the website. When i go to this website, actually, it's not the DS-156, but the DS-160.... Is it normal?

Must I fill these forms too : DS-157 and DS-156K???

I'm lost... :bonk:

Thank you for helping

Benoist and Tanya

Granted our interview was in Almaty, Kazakhstan, but they sent and e-mail with the interview letter, checklist listing all documents required, a DS-156K in Russian, the DS-230, instructions on filling out the DS-230 Part I and II, and the link to the DS-156 (http://evisaforms.state.gov/) Select the DS-156 NOT the DS-160 and fill it in. When ready print it out so the all important barcode is printed on all pages. Make sure you have the required number of copies which for us was two (2).

Hope this helps. I can now say this, but relax it will go well. I was a nervous wreck the day before the interview, but I am much better now that Roza has her visa in her passport and her passport in her hands.

Good luck to you,

Dave

Thanks for your responses.

Apparently, no more DS-156. The DS-160 replaced it... It the last new form.. You have to upload photos and everything...

Yes the DS-160 is the new form but NOT for K-1 visas. If they asked you on P3 that they want a DS-156, they really want a DS-156 and NOT a DS-160.

FYI, when I had to fill my forms last July, the DS-160 was already out, but the embassy in Paris asked for the DS-156 so I gave them the DS-156 and it was all good.

So my advise is, if they ask for DS-156 on the the P3 instruction then give them DS-156.

good luck

Good luck on your journey
