Travel with expired green card but NOA letter

Interestingly we had a problem with the Delta agent when my wife was trying to fly to Russia. The agent said that her greencard had expired and she could not use a US permanent address. The greencard had not expired, she just could not read the date. We argued for 5 minutes before I convinced her to have another agent look at the greencard and he agreed that it had not expired.

On the original topic, we made an infopass appointment to get her passport stamped and were told that they do not do that unless the NOA letter has expired and you still do not have a decision on removal of conditions. We explained there could be problems trying to leave Russia with an expired greencard and were told that it is not their problem, their only concern and the purpose of the letter is so you can reenter the US.

This is just me, but I find DELTA is awful.

Im talking about going thru immigration when i get in and out of the US :) ....Puerto Rico is a US teritory not a part of US..big difference :D:D
It is as much part of the US as Puducheri (a Union Territory in Indian terms) is of India, or Nunavut is of Canada. The flight is domestic, and you won't be going through immigration. Edited by Saddle Bronc

Delta I do not have a huge problem with, but some of their employees leave a lot to be desired. She was extremely rude. She really did not like it when she was proved wrong, but their was nothing she could do.
