What do women think of circumcision?

As a woman, and human being, I think everything it has to do with the body, is a very personal decision, in this case a man's only decision, not a woman's one, because it's his body, not the woman's body. So, i would ask this question to men: what they think and feel about it?

CR-1, VT- Canada

I-130:

25 Aug 06 - Sent I-130 (a Friday)

28 Aug 06 - NOA1 & Certif. receipt returned ( a Monday) Day 1

29 Aug 06 - USCIS cashes check

30 Aug 06 - check cleared & 1ST TOUCH.

01 Sept 06 - NOA1 recvd by Mail

09 Sept 06 - 2ND TOUCH (a Saturday)

09 Mai 07 - NOA2 (2 e-mails)

Note: were told the long delay due to huge backlog and internal changes in VT

NVC :

04-June-07 - NVC generates DS-3032 & AOS bill

12-June-07 - AOS Bill payment sent/ alien receives DS-3032 form (by mail, dated 4th June)

13-June-07 - Alien sends back completed DS-3032 (by mail)/ rcvd 19th of June approx.

To mid July-07 - I-864 form sent completed and IV fee bill

19-July-07 NVC rcv I-864 form; mail signature rcvd.

22-Aug-07 Ds-230 with documents sent to NVC.

20-Sep - 07 Alien sends NVC Missing document. NVC receives it the 25th.

05-Oct - 07 NVC completed.

16-Jan - 08 Interview, 3 questions asked, visa approved same day, received 1week later approx.

Note: delay due to internal delay, missing document (not rfe) and self procrastination of understanding some abstract terms. C Post not at all reliable (delivery duration, delivery with signature (did not deliver personnaly), and delivery of interview letter rcvd after the interview).

In USA:

01-03-08 POE Entry in USA

...-03-08 2 Welcome in America letters and green card received.

"What I know is that I know nothing"

My first boyfriend was circumcised, but my fiancee' is not. I actually prefer them uncircumcised, although I'll admit that as an American, it took me a bit of time to get used to. It's the natural way that it is supposed to be, so I'm fine with it.

My husband is the first man I have been with who was circumcised.....I think I prefer it that way...but I may just be giving a biased answer :lol::thumbs:

It does make me think, though, how much of a weight people put on that. I mean, do people actually go 'I'm sorry, I can't love you, your ####### has extra skin on it and it's ugly'. Would that seriously be a breaking point for someone in a relationship if he didn't want to get circumcised and his girlfriend/fiancee' preferred it that way. I'm wondering how many men would put themselves through that sort of thing for someone they love, especially as adults, could you imagine... OW!

In my case, I'm American and our general populace is circumcised. But I fell in love with a man from Europe, where it isn't as wide-spread as it is here. When we were first talking, it never even came up. How often do you ask someone you've never met about their crotch? I didn't discover it until we actually met for the first time, and by then I was hopelessly in love with him so it didn't matter to me. I like him as he is, extra skin and all.

My ex-husband, an American male, wasn't circumcised either. He said his parents were too cheap to pay the doctor the 10 bucks it cost (in the 50's) to have it done.

I kinda think they're 'purtier' without Mother Nature's extra protective layer, but beyond that I don't care.

I had both and actualy prefers the circumised but just because i have serious doubts about men's sense of hygiene...

I do agree with that wholeheartedly, although mine is fastideous about it. He makes sure it's always kept clean so that isn't a real problem as some people might think it to be.

Gav was the first man I was with that was NOT circumsized, I will admit that at first I was nervous about that(not sure why) but honestly-he is so blessed in that department that I don't care what it looks like, as long as he knows what to do with it-which he does :P
