Hi, On my cover letter I`ve been told to include the address of the service center. Do I use the Dallas or Lewisville Texas address ? I realize I need to address the entire 129F packet to Texas but is this also considered my Service center ? Any info you could share would be appreciated.

Hi Steve64,

I was wondering the same thing. For what it is worth: I haven't sent it in yet, but I am pretty sure we will express mail it to TX, so I am using the "2501 South State Highway 121 Business / Suite 400 / Lewisville, TX 75067" address in my cover letter. http://www.visajourney.com/news/2010/08/12/change-of-filing-location-for-form-i-129f-petition-for-alien-fiancee/

I hope this helps.

Good luck and a speedy journey.

Let me try to re word this to make it easier to understand. I live in Ohio. I know I`m suppose to send the I129f packet to Lockbox in Texas. Is Texas also considered my service center ?

Hi, I found this link for you, I see your service center is Nebraska..Good Luck To you Both!

It would not be Nebraska. It will either be California or Vermont. Those are the only 2 that do the processing.

To the OP: This is a good and valid question. There is confusion over this now. Since they changed the instructions for the I-129F to list Texas as the address to mail your petition to, no one knows who to address their cover letters, and letters of intent to. The old instructions used to list which service center yours would go to according to which state the petitioner lives in. That aspect has been removed from the instructions now. I am not sure if you are to address everything to the Texas address they provide for mailing, or are still suppose to make the cover letter and letter of intent out to the service center that will process your case.

I got my petition in right at the cusp of the change, and so I used the old instructions and sent mine to Vermont. This is taken from the old instructions, in case you want to address the letters inside to your service center instead of the Texas mailing address:
