This is a simple question that I can't seem to find the answer to, even digging through the guides and other topics. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. I just want to know if the supporting evidence for the I-134 (the pay stubs, tax return information, etc) has to be originals or if I can just use copies that are scanned to me by my fiance? Don't want him to mail them to me if he doesn't need to. Thanks!

we just used copies and since scanned copies look the same I don't see that it would be a problem.

Hey

I took originals to the interview but the CO asked only for copies.. she actually seemed pretty happy that I made copies and that she could keep them! lol she was like "OH these are copies for me?? woa thank you" lol I was like umm ooook :S lol so yeah I think copies will be okay... the only originals they asked for was my police records ...

I-134 = original.

Other financial documents = copies.

Note = consul officers and case workers lose things = always have a backup copy of everything.
