I-864, Part 3 question

Hi everyone,

I'm working on my AOS for wife plus step-daughter (K1/K2). I'm stuck at the I-864, Part 3.

Question 9; Do I have to list my step-daughter here? I'm planning on filling out a seperate I-864 for both, and assuming I don't list her on my wife's I-864 as it says "Do not include any relative listed on a seperate visa petition" I came to VJ to double check, and came across some posts saying otherwise after a search. It was mentioned how a K2 visa is not a stand-alone visa, and thus should be listed here. So now I'm confused. Any advice?

My instincts are to fill out two seperate forms, leave question 9 blank and put 1 immigrant on question 10 on both forms - making it two altogether. Would this be wrong?

You DO fill out two I-864's; one for your wife, and one for your step-daughter.

You should list your step-daughter on your wife's I-864, and you should list your wife on your step-daughter's I-864. You did not file a separate visa petition for your step-daughter. She's a derivative of the petition you filed for your fiancee/wife. The visa petition was the I-129F you filed way back when...
