I mailed my 129-f 8/26 to the Dallas office. I received postal confirmation that it was delivered 8/28. However, uscis can not find it. Does anybody have advise for me? Has anyone else had this problem. Starting over is not something I want to do!

well if thats what the USCIS says then they lost it and you would have to send it again! thats why the VJs guides suggest to keep a copy of the full package in case they lose it.. I know it must be frustrating.. Im sorry..

Yes, it does sound as though you will need to re-file (I hope you made a copy of your petition's materials) and put a stop payment on the previously submitted check. I'm sorry that you are going to have to do this :(

They are pretty fast in cashing the checks - did you, by chance, send it with "signature required"?

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Yeah, but in this case we don't know which branch of the government screwed up - USCIS or USPS. When the post office says delivery is confirmed, all it really means is that the mail carrier says he/she delivered it. Where they actually delivered it to is anybody's guess.

If the check hasn't been cashed after this much time you can safely assume it's gone. As Aztec&Taino said, stop payment on the check and resend your package.
