Processing times for I-130, I-485 in Chicago!

The estimated processing time for I-485 in Chicago is 4 months (per the USCIS.gov website)... We sent I-130, I-485, I-693, I-864 and I-765 last week... It didn't show a processing time for I-130 on the website in Chicago... So I'm wondering, will ALL of the applications be processed within the 4 months? I know the I-130 has to be approved before the I-485 anyway.. When I go for the interview, is that just for the purpose of the I-130 application, or could they approve all of the applications and approve me for a green card at the interview as well? Sorry, I'm new to this! Still haven't gotten a text/email letting me know if it's been accepted yet either so I'm pretty anxious about that...

:ot: And this is random, but are children allowed to go to the interview? My husband and I have no family here in Chicago, we have a 5 year old, 2 year old, and I'm due with another daughter in December and have nowhere to take the kids...

I bet the September filers would love for you to join them! Here is their thread.

Concurrent I-130/485 have been taking about 3-4 months start to finish. They will adjudicate your 130 and 485 at your interview, and your EAD and AP will be approved without interview beforehand. You can also read the April or May filers thread for a lot of timelines. Good luck!

We're about 4 months in (minus a week or two), and have heard nothing beyond the EAD (which, to be fair, is "something"). What is the official processing time for a concurrent filing? The USCIS page on processing times doesn't have an option for the 485 spousal filing (only refugees, asylum, etc).

Is there somewhere to see the target processing times for concurrent filers?

Yes, if you look at your local office there will be a I-485 estimated time (it's not exactly concurrent obviously, but I think it gets the job done). Last I saw the official time was 5 months at most offices, but I haven't checked in a while.

Not usually. They used to give out 551 stamps fairly often on your passport, but lately they have said they are supposed to reserve giving stamps only in emergencies, so if you get approved at the interview, it's just the IO telling you you are approved and registering the immigrant's new LPR status that day. You could always try asking for a stamp though. It takes about 10 business days to get the physical GC in the mail after that. Some people are not approved at interview, they have to wait a while for the IO to make a decision.
