Kamusta, mga kababayan! :) I've been living here in Austin for 10 months now and I still don't have any Filipino friends! (My hubby & I have Asian friends, but no Filipinos.) :crying: I mean, I would see Filipinos every once in a while (like, in the malls), but I haven't got the chance to meet and talk to them. Do you know where most Filipinos in Austin live? Salamat po!

I don't live in Austin, but did you try the Catholic churches? That would be the best bet, maybe google Fil-Am Associations in the Austin, San Antonio, or hill country area. Also my wife met many of her friends at work and on the bus, but there is plenty Filipinos here.

We've been attending alternately in TWO Catholic churches here, but still no luck. :( Oh well... I'll try your suggestion and Google some Fil-Am Associations in the area. Thanks!

For Pinoys in Austin (and nearby areas) who are looking for Filipino stores/restaurants:

- Mang Dedoy's Filipino Store & Restaurant

- Cebuana Filipino Store

- Oriental Grocery & Bakery

Just look them up on Google Maps for their exact locations. ;)
