Sign in failed, but nothing else

Good morning,

So on yesterday, I went to the sign in page just to see :innocent: if it showed failed. To my suprise it did!! So I start doing my dance, but then realized I didnt receive an email from the NVC to tell me the case was complete so I called the AVR which says when the last date the received my infor and it would be 6-8 weeks. What??? So then I call to speak to and operator and she then tells me that the case is in its final review. Thats all she said! Am I too anxious or is this normal?

Final review with NVC now. In 1 to 2 weeks, your case will be 'completely' closed.

05/08/2012 - DS-230 IV Fee $230*2 paid

05/09/2012 - DS-230 IV package mailed to NVC

05/11/2012 - DS-230 IV package received by NVC

05/17/2012 - Case Completed

Consulate

07/02/2012 - VFS visit in Cochin

07/04/2012 - Medical in Chennai

07/12/2012 - Interview in Mumbai - Success!

09/08/2012 - POE at JFK, NY

ya, 'sign in fail' is good indicator that 'document submittal is complete'.

YAY !

you'll next be going through the 'final review process' .

No clue about interview scheduling for Nigeria, sorry.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

thats gr8 keep dancing.the nvc schedules interviews on second week of every new month give them a call by Thursday of the second week in oct if you dont see a mail on wed.if there is a low application in lagos am sure you will get november 3rd or 4th week.congrats.

proceed with the medical examination immidiately you recieve the packet4 email cos you will 2 appointment to complete your vaccination .
