K1 - NO INTERVEIW YET

IT'S BEEN OVER A MONTH NOW I HAVE SUBMITTED MY PACKET 3 WITH NEW DELHI EMBASSY. I TRIED CALLING DOS/EMBASSY BUT I GET SAME RESPONSE EVERY TIME,THAT WE TAKE FOUR TO SIX WEEKS TO SCHEDULE INTERVIEW AFTER RECEIVING THE PACKET 3.

I HAVE READ ON VJ NORMALLY EVERYONE GETS THEIR PACKET 4 OR INTERVIEW LETTER THE SAME DAY OR WITH IN A WEEK.

I AM WONDERING WHY THEY HAVE BEEN DELAYING ON MY CASE ?

CAN ANY ONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT COULD BE THE SITUATION WITH MY CASE ?

Please be assured that the Form DS-230 Part I sent by you has been received by us on August 23, 2010. You may wish to log on at http://newdelhi.usembassy.gov/visa_interview_dates.html'>http://newdelhi.usembassy.gov/visa_interview_dates.html to see the visa interview date for yourself. Please note that it takes four to six weeks to schedule an applicant for a visa interview after the submission of filled DS-230 Part I.

the same day??? I don't think so.

You will hear something soon. It's all a bit frustrating, but don't let it get you down.

Delhi decides its interview appointment date in the last week of the month. As I can see in your another thread that Embassy received your P3 on Aug 23rd. New Delhi embassy decided its interview date for September and October(almost) on Aug 26th.

Your application was too early to get included in that list or we can say you were not that lucky.

Now its not too far,hopefully in the coming week you will get to know your interview date and it would be scheduled in the last two weeks of October or first week of November.

Prepare well for your interview.
