sounds like you have to pay the civil surgeon for the interview in addition to the actual AOS filing fee, anybody that can comment on this?

If you need to have a medical here for AOS yes you have to pay civil surgeon. The $1010 includes the biometrics too for the AOS but yeah you have to pay for everything pretty much but so worth it.

No you pay a CS to complete the 693 form plus the AOS fees.

You will need to go to a civil surgeon to get the shots transferred from the 3025 form you got at St Lukes onto a I-693 form and certified by the civil surgeon and submit it with the AOS packege. Do not open the sealed envelope with the I-693.

Do not forget the variable costs such as traveling to the Embassy for the interview and medical at ST Lukes, food costs and transportation, possibly lodging costs if you live far from Manila, CFO fees, photos, NSO documents such as Certificate of No Marriage, Birth Certificate, NBI Clearance. Departure fees at Manila airport, airline ticket cost. Pocket monet when traveling.

How much did you end up paying for everything?

No doubt it's worth it, but I'm just curious.

Cost of the K1 process

Paid to the USCIS:

I-129F Petition - $455

Non-Immigrant Visa Processing Fee - $131 (as of 12/09 in Colombia. I noticed another with a different number.)

AOS, EAD, AP, biometrics - $1,010

Petition to Remove the Conditions of Residence, biometrics - $545

Application for Naturalization, biometrics - $675

Required by USCIS - country specific:

Medical exam

Country of origin passport

Police certificate

Birth records/military records/Divorce records

Passport type photos for USCIS

Copies of evidence of relationship: 3 times: embassy, AOS, Removal of Conditions

Miscellaneous:

Immigration lawyer, if need/desired.

Travel/food/housing

Postage

Anyone care to add more? I'm sure that I'm missing something.

Karl / Saraya

I did not go to the civil surgeon when i processed my AOS and no RFE as long as you send the DS3025 from St. Luke's and you got all the vaccines you need. You only need to see a surgeon if you did not complete your vaccines and you don't have the copy of your DS3025.

Goodluck! =)
