We have a few questions about the advanced parole document if anyone could please help us out with some answers.

Is the purpose of filing an I-131 AP document so travel is permitted before a green card is issued?

Is there a example of what needs to be written in the travel description section regarding to I-131 part 7 supplement?

In regards to part 7 question 1: How many trips do you intend to use of this document?

If we put one trip does that mean the AP document will only be valid for the intended date of travel and expected length of trip that we list?

Or, if we put more than one trip does extend the validity of the AP document?

Thank you and hope someone can help us out with our questions.

We have a few questions about the advanced parole document if anyone could please help us out with some answers.

Is the purpose of filing an I-131 AP document so travel is permitted before a green card is issued? Yes

Is there a example of what needs to be written in the travel description section regarding to I-131 part 7 supplement? No. Because as a K1 you don't send a "supplement". The fact that you're applying for it based on AOS is your "reason for requesting one"... it's written in the instructions.

In regards to part 7 question 1: How many trips do you intend to use of this document? I put multiple, just in case

If we put one trip does that mean the AP document will only be valid for the intended date of travel and expected length of trip that we list? in theory, but i've only ever seen multiple trip ones

Or, if we put more than one trip does extend the validity of the AP document? It's valid for a year. If you have a particular trip planned write that in by all means, if you dont, don't worry about it and write "unknown" in both "intended date" and "length of trip". Then tick multiple trip, no probs

Thank you and hope someone can help us out with our questions.

Answered in red above

** moved from "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" to " Working & Traveling During US Immigration" as this is relating to AP**
