Hi! I'm here to tell you all about MaternityCard. MaternityCard is the perfect solution for pregnant women who can not qualify for insurance due to the pre-existing condition policies insurance companies operate under as well as those who cannot qualify for government assistance or Medicaid.

MaternityCardis not insurance. MaternityCard has negotiated and PPO Network contracted rates nationwide with over 450,000 doctors and all hospitals nationwide. MaternityCard gives you access to these negotiated and PPO Network contracted rates in order to save you up to 60% on all of your maternity related expenses. MaternityCard has several affordable programs to choose from.

Our premiere hospital program gives you negotiated and contracted rates on hospital stays, anesthesiologist, and all other hospital health cares associated with your pregnancy, even c-sections and all other complications. This program includes a complimentary doctor benefit. This doctor benefit has been added to the hospital program at no additional cost to you. It will give you two choices: 1)allow us to guide you through the process of negotiation with an out-of-network physician, or 2)choose to visit one of our in-network physicians, for even more significant savings, and pay a fraction of the cost through our contracted rates. In addition, you can save on other costs including pre-natal vitamins and prescriptions, lab-work, ultrasounds, plus post-natal care for you and your newborn.

We also have a program designed for those of you who are planning on becoming pregnant, and are researching your financial options. Unlike traditional insurance, we have no waiting periods and you can start trying to expand your family, immediately! Once you enroll, you will simply call us when you discover that you are pregnant to activate our services. This service provides complimentary access to our network for any fertility treatments you might need as well. You can see significant savings on costly procedures by visiting our network providers. Ask yourMaternityCard Senior Benefit Specialist Elizabeth Thompson for more details.

With MaternityCard , you will get the PPO network contracted rates with network providers, and save through negotiation with out-of-network providers, including doctors, labs, and hospitals. And, since you are paying for this pregnancy out-of-pocket, anyway, why not pay lower rates? The best part about MaternityCard is the guarantee. We guarantee that you will save the cost of the program, or we pay YOU..the difference, plus two hundred dollars, plus you get to keep the Family Program for twelve months at no additional cost to you. The bottom line is that we take the financial risk.

Today, the average cost of a normal pregnancy is $7000 to $11,000. The average MaternityCard PPO savings is about $3500. Example: one of our members had a hospital bill of $11,000, which was re-priced at our contracted rate to $3300. That's a $7,700 savings! Another member's doctor's usual & customary fee was about $3300. And after we had re-priced and adjusted the bill under our contract, the new, allowable amount was ONLY $2100. That is a $1200 savings, on the doctor visits, alone! Of course, your savings could be more or less, depending on various factors, such as location, specialist, contract rates, etc. However, you can clearly see that with the MaternityCard, you can expect to save thousands less over the entire course of your pregnancy. Remember, we guarantee the savings will be more than the cost of the program, so we take the financial risk, not you!

Once you enroll, the MaternityCard and the membership kit will be mailed to you the day after we receive your initial payment. Once you receive your kit, your first step is to contact our call our Information Line. Once you have listened to this highly-informative message from one of our company's founder, you should contact one of the specialists at our Patient Advocacy Team. The PAT team will be your personal assistant for the next year. They make sure that everything goes smoothly. And, they will help you with your doctor and hospital. They will guide you through all of the money issues and make your life a whole lot easier. So, you can focus on your new baby, instead of being stressed out about money. Your MaternityCard specialist will answer all of your questions and show you how easy it is to get started, today. MaternityCard accepts Visa, MasterCard, checking, and savings accounts.

By the way, be sure to ask your MaternityCard specialist about our Referral Program. Just call (888) 498-4905 Ext. 1018 Toll Free to speak with your Benefit Specialist Elizabeth Thompson, to find out how you can get your membership for free! That number, again, is Toll Free (888) 498-4905 Ext. 1018 Toll Free. Thank you for taking the time to read this!

;) If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, its prolly a damn duck!

Good to see you Gimy!

To the OP I think you need to check and see if you can get a rider for maternity coverage on your work insurance. Or perhaps one of you look into a job that does offer better coverage, that will immediatly pick you up. If you can't find coverage, then do it yourself by calling local hospitals and ob-gyns and arranging some sort of discounted plan ahead of time. Maybe even look into a midwife to see if the rates are a bit lower.

I would make an appointment with Social Services and enquire about Medicaid. After all there are a lot of people who use it because they are just lazy and don't wanna work.

Pregnancy situation doesn't have to be seen as you - K-1 visa holder applying for a certain benefit. This child is going to be an American citizen so maybe they would classify it differently. Also this is your husband's child and he is also an American citizen.

If this doesn't work try finding a cheap hospital - the prices vary a lot. If you end up having to pay - negotiate monthly payments as low as you can afford.

Good luck

Ana

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

we dont have health insurance and we just found out we are excecting.. he/she is due april 11th..

i dunno what we are gonna do.. i started working last year and if i get it over my job i gotta pay $200 a month and it covers only the dentist and ob/gyn.. no hospital, maternity or ER.. and if i get insured over my hubbys work we gotta pay around $200 a week!! but that covers everything.. i dunno about maternity though.. does anyone know a insurance that we can get now that will cover maternity? thanks

by the way i have a part time job.. sometimes i work 40 hrs a week and sometimes only 15 hrs a week.. it depends on the work..

Hi,

My name is leona, i read your email about health insurance, first of all i'd like to say congratulations on your pregnancy, that's so sweet. I think you are only about 21 years old, im 19, i was married when i was only 17, well, i was 10 days from my 18 birthday at that time, anyway, i was in the usa too, im a citizen, and when i became pregnant, i had no insurance, but my income was low enough to get medicaid for pregnant women, which covered everything for my pregnancy and the birth, and the baby's doctors visits....and if your income isn't low enough, well, it's hard to get on a health insurance plan now that you are pregnant, because i have a friend who was in the same situation, and she was not able to afford insurance, or even get any because they didn't want to make her a client since she was already pregnant...and she made too much to have medicaid ...so what she did was she went to a low income clinic, where you will have to pay, but not as much as you would at a normal hospital. the clinic she went to was a community health clinic , it's not insurance, and you pay them a cheaper amount according to your income for all of the dr. visits and delivery expense...well, all i can suggest is to see if you qualify for medicaid, and if not, try to find one of these community clinics.

I hope i helped.

Sincerely,

Leona

O no,

Im so sorry, i didn't read that you and your husband are no longer together,

I hope you are doing well, and i Pray for you to have a healthy baby, Take care and be strong.

Sincerely,

Leona
