Just to let everyone know that I was approved.I got my pink slip,but I need a new version of the Guyana Passport.I already went to the Immigration Office,so I will be uplifting my passport on Friday and then take it back to the Embassy on Monday at 9am.

I may have a (brief) denial due to an overstyay but there are medical circumstances - so who knows till tomorrow! I'll do my best! We have the senator poised to expedite and Ive already done the i601 waiver packet. Boy, that takes forever. Ive got a few hundred pages of documentation! :o

Thanks Sassy. I am sooooooooooooo happy. I only slept about 2 hours last night and now I'm still buzzing with excitement. If my family didn't know me well, they would have thought i was on ecstasy or some other stimulant. lol. I just so excited to see my husband. Christmas will be good for sure.

03-03-2010 : Paid AOS and IV bills; both are IN PROCESS

It is quite rare Loto. Plus a lot of us, Guyanese do not like to share our experiences. Hey, I'm all for paying it forward though. I hope my experience can help someone else. The main thing for me was to have my husband go in prepared. Everything we sent in was reviewed a million times. Plan ahead and take as much evidence even if you don't think they would take them again at the interview, which they did to my husband. They only took my letter that I sent to the Consular Officer. That did the trick because it was concise and informative.

09-03-2010 : RFE sent to the NVC today....SIF please come quickly.

09-07-2010 : RFE signed for by Desmond at 10:16 a.m.

09-10-2010 : NVC acknowledges receipt of the RFE

09-30-2010 : SIF

10-01-2010 : Case complete as per NVC AVR

NVC:

02-25-2010 : Received NVC case number, but NVC is closed, so I can't give an operator our emails. :-(

02-27-2010 : Jumped the gun and emailed the VJ version of the DS 3032. Who knows what will happen :-)

03-01-2010 : Gave the operator both emails...waiting on DS3032 kit

03-02-2010 : Received DS3032 Kit; Resent DS3032 (just in case), Received AOS bill.

03-03-2010 : Paid AOS and IV bills; both are IN PROCESS

03-03-2010 : VJ email version of the DS3032 accepted (It was the one that was sent on 02-27-2010)

03-11-2010 : Both AOS + IV showed paid but processed on 03-05-2010 :-)

03-12-2010 : Mailed AOS packet. Waiting on my procrastinating hubby to send me his IV docs :-(

were still here in the philippines... we'll be leaving after new year... eheheh... c")... cause my husband have work and he can't have a vacation.. the company set a schedule for him after new year... and its ok cause i'll be spending christmas and new year with my family... eheheh...

2010-05-25 – pays I – 864 bill

2010-06-09 – receives I – 864 package

2010-03-16 – receive IV bill

2010-03-16 – pay IV bill online

2010-03-18 – nvc received payment “paid”

2010-08-16 – hubby send me ds-230 forms

2010-08-20 – send ds-230 forms and civil documents at nvc through lbc

2010-09-03 – nvc receives ds-230

2010-09-18 – case completed!

2010-10-18 – medical completed - PASSED! (october 18 and 19, 2010)

2010-11-04 – interview @ 6:30am US Embassy Manila, Philippines - VISA APPROVED!!!!!

2010-11-04 - VISA RECEIVED

My baby’s CRBA journey....

2010-08-03 – call air 21 for the delivery of the crab forms

2010-08-04 – air21 deliver’s the forms

2010-08-05 – 2010-08-05 to 2010-08-19 completed the forms and required documents, except

for hubby’s tax and employment records

2010-09-17 – hubby mail his tax and other documents needed through USPS

2010-09-24 – receives hubby’s mail

2010-09-24 – call air 21 for pick –up

2010-09-28 – air 21 pick up the documents

2010-10-21 – CRBA Interview @7:30am US Embassy Manila, Philippines =- PASSED!!!!

2010-11-02 - Receives my daughter's US Passport and Certificate of Citizenship!!!
