After all that is what this is really all about. :innocent::thumbs: All the Best to you always...

Tom thank you for the well wishes. As I sit here with my wife debating what to have for breakfast and reading VJ your quote has the most meaning for me today. You are absolutly correct.

Thanks again Tom and I am looking forward to hearing what you and your wife are having for breakfast soon.

INTERVIEW REVIEW!!

I traveled to Santiago Chile to be with my husband for his interview. We stayed in a hotel acrooss the street from the USEM in Santiago. We arrived an hour early for the interview. We were the first ones on line, everyone is scheduled at 1:30pm. Around 1:00pm they let us inside the embassy and we went inside where the interviews are given. By the way the Embassy is beautiful and very big. We sat down and exactly at 1:30 window #8 called my husband's number (1), she asked him if anyone was with him and he called me to the window and I was greeted by a very friendly woman. I went back to sit down, my hubby then signed the second part of DS230, he was asked if he had ever been married before and if he had children. After he answered no, she asked him to have a seat and wait for the Consul interview at window #6. We waited about 10 minutes and someone at window 6 called my husband by name. As soon as she greeted him she asked him to place his fingers on the scanner (fingerprints) when he was done she asked if anyone was with him... so he called me to the window and I greeted the Consul (she spoke spanish) and after she asked me who I was she asked my husband how we met. He told her our story and then she asked me the reason why USCIS expedited our application, I told her why (in english) and then she asked my hubby what he did for work in Chile. She smiled and then said ok go to the DHL desk and pay. Have a great life! We were not asked for any evidence what so ever!! trust me we were ready for anything... When I got back to the hotel I emailed the Embassy and informed them that I knew that I was not supposed to buy a ticket for my husband but I had and our travel date together was for 11/11/2010. I asked if the Visa could be given withing the time I was to travel as a curtesy, if not I would have to change the ticket. I received a response within an hour informing me that they would do their best to have it ready by then. They also wished us luck in our new life.. DHL delivered all docs for travel and visa on Tuesday November 9th...

We travelled to NY on the 11th and arrived at JFK international Airport on the 12th. They processed him (scanned his right 4 fingers) and sent us to sector #4 where he was asked to sign and again give a print of index finger. No questions at all... I credit God for everything going so smoothly, everyone we came in contact with was super friedly and kind. Over all, the interview at window 8 was about 6 minutes and the interview at window 6 was about 10 minutes.

I forgot to mention that he handed his medical sealed envelope at window 8!!:bonk: :bonk:
