She said she will call me tomorrow morning with the details. Guess she is busy... So I anxiously wait...

I liked Chicago when I went there years ago. I think you will too once you get acclimated to the weather. Summers are easy but winter test you...Hang on...

02-25-2010 : Received NVC case number, but NVC is closed, so I can't give an operator our emails. :-(

02-27-2010 : Jumped the gun and emailed the VJ version of the DS 3032. Who knows what will happen :-)

03-01-2010 : Gave the operator both emails...waiting on DS3032 kit

03-02-2010 : Received DS3032 Kit; Resent DS3032 (just in case), Received AOS bill.

03-03-2010 : Paid AOS and IV bills; both are IN PROCESS

03-03-2010 : VJ email version of the DS3032 accepted (It was the one that was sent on 02-27-2010)

03-11-2010 : Both AOS + IV showed paid but processed on 03-05-2010 :-)

03-12-2010 : Mailed AOS packet. Waiting on my procrastinating hubby to send me his IV docs :-(

03-15-2010 : AOS signed for by St. Laurent at 10:03 a.m.

07-19-2010 : Received IV documents from hubby (Finally)

07-20-2010 : Mailed IV packet

07-21-2010 : IV Packet signed for by Peters at 10:15 a.m. (St. Laurent and Desmond are probably on vacation lol)

07-26-2010 : NVC starts processing IV Packet

08-20-2010 : Called NVC and was told that we received a "stupid" RFE on 08-18-2010

09-03-2010 : RFE sent to the NVC today....SIF please come quickly.

09-07-2010 : RFE signed for by Desmond at 10:16 a.m.

09-10-2010 : NVC acknowledges receipt of the RFE

09-30-2010 : SIF

10-01-2010 : Case complete as per NVC AVR

Yes see how you women treat us poor men. :crying: I think I will enroll her in some sensitivity training classes when she gets here. I might even be the instructor...

The good thing about cold is that you can always put more or better clothes on. When it hot you have to stop at the skin...

The good thing about cold is that you can always put more or better clothes on. When it hot you have to stop at the skin...

Amen to that. I'm from a place where we are not far from the Equator and I cannot deal with the heat/summer weather. I prefer the winter, even though it leaves me with dry skin and the occasional nose bleeds (from the artificial radiator heat)I tell people the same thing repeatedly: you can make yourself warm in the winter, but forget about the summer; you have to spend your time indoors if you want comfort.

It was super fast...the waiting was longer than interview LOL!! The consul spoke spanish and just asked my husband how we met, and then she asked me why case was expedited in USCIS and that was it she sent him to pay and now just waiting for passport with Visa so he can travel.. It was God's Favour and grace...I am so grateful..and sooo happy!!

As for the cold..you got your hubby to keep you warm honey so you will be fine LOL!!!

omg!!!!!! VISA APPROVE!!!!!!!! :dance::dance:

arrive at the us embassy in manila at around 5:45 am (interview time is 6:30am). got in at around 6:00am...

at i got number 26... at 6:30am i was called for pre-screening... the filipino interviewer ask lots of question...

after an 30 mins i done the finger scanning... after an hour i already have my final interview....... VISA APPROVE!!!!! i went out the embassy at 8:45am....

i would like to say my deepest thanks to all the vj member who help me through out this journey....

ehehehhe... really happy!!!!!!! :dance:

OUR I-R1 Journey

2010-05-25 – receives ds-3032 / I – 864

2010-05-25 – pays I – 864 bill

2010-06-09 – receives I – 864 package

2010-03-16 – receive IV bill

2010-03-16 – pay IV bill online

2010-03-18 – nvc received payment “paid”

2010-08-16 – hubby send me ds-230 forms

2010-08-20 – send ds-230 forms and civil documents at nvc through lbc

2010-09-03 – nvc receives ds-230

2010-09-18 – case completed!

2010-10-18 – medical completed - PASSED! (october 18 and 19, 2010)

2010-11-04 – interview @ 6:30am US Embassy Manila, Philippines - VISA APPROVED!!!!!

2010-11-04 - VISA RECEIVED

My baby’s CRBA journey....

2010-08-03 – call air 21 for the delivery of the crab forms

2010-08-04 – air21 deliver’s the forms

2010-08-05 – 2010-08-05 to 2010-08-19 completed the forms and required documents, except

for hubby’s tax and employment records

2010-09-17 – hubby mail his tax and other documents needed through USPS

2010-09-24 – receives hubby’s mail

2010-09-24 – call air 21 for pick –up

2010-09-28 – air 21 pick up the documents

2010-10-21 – CRBA Interview @7:30am US Embassy Manila, Philippines =- PASSED!!!!

2010-11-02 - Receives my daughter's US Passport and Certificate of Citizenship!!!
