my wife is schedules for interview in Islamabad, Pakistan on Nov 19 which is going to be a local holiday.....I e-mailed the embassy yesterday, I hope they do not schedule us for next month or two......

Rashid... here is the us embassy holiday list for islamabad... according to this list they are closed for EID.. 16,17,and 18.

so ur 19 nov interview looks ok.

02-25-2010 : Received NVC case number, but NVC is closed, so I can't give an operator our emails. :-(

02-27-2010 : Jumped the gun and emailed the VJ version of the DS 3032. Who knows what will happen :-)

03-01-2010 : Gave the operator both emails...waiting on DS3032 kit

03-02-2010 : Received DS3032 Kit; Resent DS3032 (just in case), Received AOS bill.

03-03-2010 : Paid AOS and IV bills; both are IN PROCESS

03-03-2010 : VJ email version of the DS3032 accepted (It was the one that was sent on 02-27-2010)

03-11-2010 : Both AOS + IV showed paid but processed on 03-05-2010 :-)

03-12-2010 : Mailed AOS packet. Waiting on my procrastinating hubby to send me his IV docs :-(

03-15-2010 : AOS signed for by St. Laurent at 10:03 a.m.

07-19-2010 : Received IV documents from hubby (Finally)

07-20-2010 : Mailed IV packet

07-21-2010 : IV Packet signed for by Peters at 10:15 a.m. (St. Laurent and Desmond are probably on vacation lol)

07-26-2010 : NVC starts processing IV Packet

08-20-2010 : Called NVC and was told that we received a "stupid" RFE on 08-18-2010

09-03-2010 : RFE sent to the NVC today....SIF please come quickly.

09-07-2010 : RFE signed for by Desmond at 10:16 a.m.

09-10-2010 : NVC acknowledges receipt of the RFE

09-30-2010 : SIF

10-01-2010 : Case complete as per NVC AVR

10-05-2010 : Interview date assigned for November 29, 2010 at 7:00 a.m. Approved

Juju- Thanks :thumbs: but fat chance in Hades :innocent: . I haven't sent in the IV packet yet and SIF takes around 3 weeks so 3 weeks from today would still be too late (and I have a week or so to wait on documents and being able to send them out). I will be overjoyed if we make it for January!

It is too bad that Halloween is the Sunday before interviews. No staying out super late and living it up. Maybe NVC will be nice and sneak a few more names in this list :P

-AVR still say AOS missing info: 12/3/10

-NVC operator says case was shipped to USE in Lima: 12/3/10

-Received interview date (12/13/10): JANUARY 6th, 2011!!

-Medical: 12/21/10- Passed :)

-Interivew: 1/6/11- PASSED :D

-Visa received- 1/13/11

-POE FLL- 1/23/11 YES! BUTTTTTTT....still not reunited :'( (Reunited on the 24th)

Well, I would hope for the best. As long as you get a SIF before the end of the year then I would say that is a good Christmas present.

WOW Hi Everyone. Just got back from a 6 day camping & Kayak trip... I am beat but had to stop in and see that there's been some Positive progress. Congrats to the new November Interviewees... Looks like the list grew by several more people. I was surprised to see that. The more the merrier.

Now I lay me down to sleep... :hehe:

- Informed by call center. Cost $18 Information received- we need to wait 6-8 weeks from Nov 5th FUBAR.

- VISA APPROVED 12/15/2010

- Wife arrived in US Feb 2, 2011... :)

You mean 36 days till I pick her up at the airport kind of count down? haha Yes I started :whistle: Yeah October seems to have Zoomed by... in a dragged out sort of way.haha :blush: All the people in the groups I hang with are also anxious to meet her. They are wondering if I will stop showing up so often once Annie is with me. :blink: I hope not but the winter will surly slow me down as I am not going to freeze if I can avoid it. Been there and done enough of that.

I get the same thing all the time. Everyone, especially at my office is excited about my husband coming here. They have never spoken to him; they have only seem photos and they act like they know him. It is funny. A few of them want to interview him lol; as they put it just to make sure he knows how to treat me. lol.
