for hubby’s tax and employment records

2010-09-24 – receives hubby’s mail

2010-09-24 – call air 21 for pick –up

2010-09-28 – air 21 pick up the documents

2010-10-21 – CRBA Interview @7:30am US Embassy Manila, Philippines =- PASSED!!!!

2010-11-02 - Receives my daughter's US Passport and Certificate of Citizenship!!!

I'm unfortunately having the same issue with the case file not being in Guyana. I want to request a new interview date from the embassy but I can't do that until they receive the case file. My husband completed his medical and has all the required documents for the interview since last Friday. However, the embassy said that they don't have the file as yet. I emailed the NVC to inquire about the case file on Sunday; I was hoping for a reply by today but nothing. I might try calling tonight, but I'm tired of waiting on hold; I might fall asleep. :wacko::blink:

I just want to know how in the world it takes so long after case complete to get it to the Embassy!!! It's crazy...I was thinking they already had the case in Chile..I guess NOT!!!:wow:

I am confused! Emily's hubby's interview is on Nov 1st or 3rd?

It was changed to the 3rd because on the 1st there is a holiday in Chile.

02-25-2010 : Received NVC case number, but NVC is closed, so I can't give an operator our emails. :-(

02-27-2010 : Jumped the gun and emailed the VJ version of the DS 3032. Who knows what will happen :-)

03-01-2010 : Gave the operator both emails...waiting on DS3032 kit

03-02-2010 : Received DS3032 Kit; Resent DS3032 (just in case), Received AOS bill.

03-03-2010 : Paid AOS and IV bills; both are IN PROCESS

03-03-2010 : VJ email version of the DS3032 accepted (It was the one that was sent on 02-27-2010)

03-11-2010 : Both AOS + IV showed paid but processed on 03-05-2010 :-)

03-12-2010 : Mailed AOS packet. Waiting on my procrastinating hubby to send me his IV docs :-(

03-15-2010 : AOS signed for by St. Laurent at 10:03 a.m.

07-19-2010 : Received IV documents from hubby (Finally)

07-20-2010 : Mailed IV packet

07-21-2010 : IV Packet signed for by Peters at 10:15 a.m. (St. Laurent and Desmond are probably on vacation lol)

I called the NVC today and the agent told me that my case was sent off to Jamaica (Finally) the agent was unable to provide ETA on the packet....

**** I also was able to Book by ticket from Atlanta to Kingston on 10/27 today.... so I'm finally feelin like I'm going some where because I could not get a CHEAP ticket...***

I dont know if they sent my papers to Manila. Thats why I didnt put a date down for it yet.

The 6-8 weeks is what they tell everyone. Mine AVR said the same as yours.

Let me ask you a question. Did you do your CFO and CENOMAR? I was told we need that for PI. My wife said there is another one (CFA) also. Its confusing to me cause I dont know where the Philippine Government have all these requirements listed. I think they are just looking for $$$ as a last chance to get something from us... :blush:

I just bought my wife's ticket and they could not issue a e=ticket and she had to go to Manila to pick it up and of course it cost about $100 in taxes & fees to do that. That doesn't include the departure tax... I would think getting a passport would be enough but they put all this other stuff, with a fee of course, on top of that. All this just gets old after a while. I dont see the Government doing much for the people just take take take...

i have a question for you....my case has been completed last oct 8.i tried logging in to the payment portal and i still can log in just until today,i got a sign in failed! (last night i can still log in),what does this mean?ive been reading all about this SIF here but i really have no idea about it.Thanks.

i have a question for you....my case has been completed last oct 8.i tried logging in to the payment portal and i still can log in just until today,i got a sign in failed! (last night i can still log in),what does this mean?ive been reading all about this SIF here but i really have no idea about it.Thanks.

I read your post 3 times because I was a but confused. Anyway, sometimes that happens where the AVR is updated before the payment portal. If I were you I would call and speak to a Customer Service Rep. at the NVC to confirm that your case is complete. If you have already done that then you just have to wait now for the interview date assignment. You will likely get a December date. Good luck.
