just want to ask if your husband receive a hard copy of the appointment letter? umm... coz i haven't. im planning to print the email i receive from nvc (the appointment letter) coz planning to have my medical on october 18. do you think it will be ok? or same as ur husband, he will also use

No no hard copy just the email with the attachment which is the letter. We both got it in an email he's going to print that out and bring it to medical on the 18th. Tom had a good idea he says to print two copies one for the medical and one for the embassy interview. I think you will be fine!!

When yer USCitizen Spouse calls NVC again, have them go over that list of 'pointed questions' at http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/275348-november-2010-interviews/page__view__findpost__p__4221880 - then start keeping track of the answers. 'Final Review' is a PITA, for all, since 1 AUG 2010.

You should call NVC to inquire about this. I've seen this happen before; Call and speak to a human at the NVC.

my NVC case compelet on 6th oct 2010 but on 8th oct they send me checklist email again. i call nvc today AVR saying case comepe;et

also on 7th oct i call 10 times to nvc to find out about tha case and all the time they say case compelet but not interview date yet so do i feel its false or ? please reply ...its always help.

I had a similar situation I got a SIF at the pay Portal but the AVR said I has missing documentation. Never got a checklist. What does the checklist say your missing. Usually they will tell you. It might be something minor and they will have you provide documentation at the interview. Just guessing here. For me they just said they had to identify my lack of income but the final decision was the Embassy's.

It seems to me that they send the appointment letter a few days after they send out the packages to the respective embassies. My letter was dated October 5, 2010, which was the date they sent out my package. I received the actual letter via email on October 8, 2010 the date my package reached Guyana.

its help...... also i saw u get your SIF on 30th sep so 29th your case was compelet and then on 5th u get email (interview date). my SIF on 6th and i check on 7th its SIF so on 13th i should get interview date,

I'm trying to contact the NVC PEOPLE since 9am up until 1210am and the line was busy all but once. Does any one know wats going on. I neeed to make changes to the case file.
