Actually, if the interview date is set - you or the USCitizen Spouse can NOW request an earlier interview - but must inquire directly with the Embassy IV unit - and I've no real info on 'how to contact London' these days, at all. Used to be, email with them worked. These days? Not so sure.

That is true. I know the embassy in Guyana allows you to request an earlier date if you complete the medical and have acquired all the required civil documents and the like. They have a form for that too. It maybe the same for other consulates. I will request a new interview date as soon as my husband finishes everything.I want him here for thanksgiving. :star:

Hey Waiter that is wonderful news. It looks like you will get the IR-1, which would be perfect. Allows you to bypass the AOS stage.   You have been waiting a long time for this so I don't think you should worry about AP. I know someone from Pakistan that got his wife here in less than a year and he had only met her a few months before he filed. She didn't have to do AP. from reading the different threads on VJ most male beneficiaries are subjected to AP. You just focus on the interview going well and you will have your wife here soon.

SIF ON OCT 06TH 2010

Case Completed at NVC : 2010-10-06

I'll bet you won't be interviewing in November, as scheduling is finishing up today,

and

you've no indication of 'final review completed' from NVC, yet -

you barely just got 'documents complete' 2 days ago.

'final review' used to take 2 to 4 days, now is taking 3 weeks or more -

so - to know where you are, what's going on - review http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/275348-november-2010-interviews/page__view__findpost__p__4221880

and then

suggest you join in, instead, to the October NVC group, over at

(ya click this link, it's safe, I swear ! )

I thought they schedule interviews up until the second week of the month? it took them 2 business days after CC to assign my husband an interview date.

When yer USCitizen Spouse calls NVC again, have them go over that list of 'pointed questions' at http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/275348-november-2010-interviews/page__view__findpost__p__4221880 - then start keeping track of the answers. 'Final Review' is a PITA, for all, since 1 AUG 2010.
