No No - when yer wife is PROACTIVE - then you get to have naps, often. No 'reactive mass' involved, ever. Naps are cool !

I have a question....I know NVCmakes the interview appointments....who sends the email with appoiment letter?? in my case the USEM in Santiago Chile?? Just curious!

Emily, NVC sends email notification and mail notification to you (petitioner).

Consulate notifies the beneficiary in the form of Packet 4, generally. I don't know about how Chile Consulate does this.

It is the official notification of the foreign consulate to the beneficiary with the documents needed for the interview, medical information etc.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Actually Emily and Loto, I'm the beneficiary, and I received the e-mail from the NVC with the interview date at the same time as my husband and our lawyer. Nothing came from the Embassy.

You are correct. Email will come to both since both email ids are provided. Packet 4 depends on the country.

hi im on new this thread...our documents was received by the NVC last september 21st,so i guess it would take them sometime to process huh?and 2 months more for the interview?i was hoping for an interview before christmas! well I guess i will just keep on praying and hoping... :(

congratulations to all who received their interview schedule! I am hoping for my husband's too....even before christmas....but our docs were just received by the NVC last sept 21st,called them last night they said to wait for 2 more weeks,I guess I will just keep on Praying...i am still hoping though... Goodluck!

just keep checking! It all depends on if the embassy is backed up from what I understand if you are case complete.
