Good morning all. I received the appointment letter from NVC at 130 am on Oct 6. That sort of surprised me because I would have thought that NVC finished the work day at Midnight. Now it appears not to be the case. I am guessing many of the Interviews that were found out by phone calls also received their email from NVC also... Yahoo :dance: Well it is starting to look like I can see some light at the end of this tunnel... It will still be 2 months away before my wife will be flying to the USA but now I have a date. I can prepare and I can stop wondering and guessing whats going on. What a relief. Good luck to those still waiting dont worry. If you have made it this far then you will be getting your soon. Hang in there like we all had to do and enjoy the feeling once you get yours.

In following my dear friend Mamamimi's advice I called the NVC regarding our anticipated interview date. I told the lady on the phone that I needed some good news because this was my Birthday. She ask me what would you call good news? I told here having a interview date for my wife in Manila would be good news and she told me How does Nov 3 at 0630 sound!!!! YAHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello my dear friends, just wanted to give you an update, Just got off the phone with Jim and my interview is November first at 1:30.

I got an interview for november 1 @ 830am for two people.

i already have my interview date!!!!!! its november 04 @ 6:30 am at us embassy manila

Anyway, she said I have great news an interview was assigned today for your case.

It is for NOVEMBER 29, 2010 at 7:00 a.m.

2010-03-18 – nvc received payment “paid”

2010-08-16 – hubby send me ds-230 forms

2010-08-20 – send ds-230 forms and civil documents at nvc through lbc

2010-09-18 – case completed!

2010-10-18 – medical completed - PASSED! (october 18 and 19, 2010)

2010-09-17 – hubby mail his tax and other documents needed through USPS

2010-09-24 – receives hubby’s mail

2010-09-24 – call air 21 for pick –up

2010-09-28 – air 21 pick up the documents

2010-10-21 – CRBA Interview @7:30am US Embassy Manila, Philippines =- PASSED!!!!

2010-11-02 - Receives my daughter's US Passport and Certificate of Citizenship!!!

NVC:

02-25-2010 : Received NVC case number, but NVC is closed, so I can't give an operator our emails. :-(

02-27-2010 : Jumped the gun and emailed the VJ version of the DS 3032. Who knows what will happen :-)

03-01-2010 : Gave the operator both emails...waiting on DS3032 kit

03-02-2010 : Received DS3032 Kit; Resent DS3032 (just in case), Received AOS bill.

03-03-2010 : Paid AOS and IV bills; both are IN PROCESS

03-03-2010 : VJ email version of the DS3032 accepted (It was the one that was sent on 02-27-2010)

03-11-2010 : Both AOS + IV showed paid but processed on 03-05-2010 :-)

03-12-2010 : Mailed AOS packet. Waiting on my procrastinating hubby to send me his IV docs :-(

03-15-2010 : AOS signed for by St. Laurent at 10:03 a.m.

07-19-2010 : Received IV documents from hubby (Finally)

07-20-2010 : Mailed IV packet

07-21-2010 : IV Packet signed for by Peters at 10:15 a.m. (St. Laurent and Desmond are probably on vacation lol)

07-26-2010 : NVC starts processing IV Packet

08-20-2010 : Called NVC and was told that we received a "stupid" RFE on 08-18-2010

09-03-2010 : RFE sent to the NVC today....SIF please come quickly.

09-07-2010 : RFE signed for by Desmond at 10:16 a.m.

09-10-2010 : NVC acknowledges receipt of the RFE

09-30-2010 : SIF

10-01-2010 : Case complete as per NVC AVR

10-05-2010 : Interview date assigned for November 29, 2010 at 7:00 a.m. Approved

I would guess that is what it is. Your letter will be an attachment to the NVC Email... See if you have one then Open it up and print it out a few times . You will need that for your Embassy appointment in Manila and I think it would be a good idea to have a copy with you when you go to St Luke's.

You now have to focus on getting your medical completed before your interview... Good Luck...

14-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 on hand through USPS

It takes about a week or two, but hey I started calling after four days...good luck!
