I-485 transferred to NBC ??

I apologize if I am posting in the wrong section. I tried to do a search, but it kept coming back that my words were too short... which they weren't so?

Anyway my husband just sent out his AOS petition (after a K-1). We got a text and email (it's been about a week since we mailed them to the lockbox) that the case has been transferred to the NBC. Is this normal? I hope it doesn't mean there is something wonky about our case.

That is normal. That is where all those kinds of cases go. Chicago is essentially just where they receive the mail, NBC is where all the action happens.

Okay, thanks! I was looking at some old info on google (all I could find) and it seemed like it was bad news. Glad it isn't the case now.

you got a letter saying NBC? most of us only get xfers to CSC.

i mean i know NBC is the main place where all the apps go but to give you a letter saying you were xfered there is very odd.
