My wife went to her biometrics appointment here in Georgia and Sept 17. Today we received a letter dated Sept 16, and our case was transferred to CSC. Does anybody know why? and what is the wait time? I've heard/read things about CSC and some people think they are slow... How bad are they?

It means most likely that she wont have an interview for her AOS.

She would be approved without interview unless CSC finds a reason to send it back for interview.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

There is a topic about the wait time which may give you some idea of what you're looking at on average:

My husband's case flew through CSC very quickly, timeline's in my signature.

It means most likely that she wont have an interview for her AOS. will have to wait in a black hole for several months for her GC.

She would be approved (after several months) without interview unless CSC finds a reason to send it back for interview (which will be a good thing 'cause then she can get her GC.

Fixxored  (sorry, but it's the reality that so many CSC couples are facing right now, even since last October some folks have heard nothing from CSC). Hope everyone gets their GC sooner, rather than later. :star:
