My fiance came in the USA with a K1 visa, when he entered he was given his visa but the packet was not returned. We do not have any of those documents and in our AOS we need some of those documents to continue with the process, can someone please advise me what to do...

I think it's normal they kept the packet as they will transfer it to your local USCIS office.

You'll need to submit some of the form again for AOS and even if you already submitted some documents you'll need to re-submit some of them accordingly to the instructions of each AOS form.

Good luck on your journey

I believe you need copies of the medical exams and vaccinations. When my fiancee had her exams and vaccinations done we asked the civil surgeon to make certified copies so she could submit them with her AOS. If you do not have certified copies of your medical exams and vaccinations, from everything I have read, you will have to get them all done again.

as far as I know you wont need anything from the brown envelope the embassy gave you.. they are supposed to keep everything at the POE.... about the medical exams I read that you will only need the copy of the form DS-3025 which is your Vaccination record and the doctor probably gave you this... thats the only thing you need copies of from your medical exam.. you are not supposed to have copies of the rest since those forms were supposed to be sealed in the enveloped the doctor handed u... and if you have the DS-3025 and if you submit your AOS package within the year you took your medical exam, you wont need a new one.. you will need to take your DS-3025 and have a civil surgeon to certify this.

if you checked the check list for the AOS here http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos

you will see that the things that you will ahve to submit again (that you already submitted for package 129F) is

G-325A which you can fill out again or if you have a copy in your computer I think you can use it

your birth certificate which you gave to the embassy but they only asks for a copy so you probably have the original

and your copy of NOA2

the others formas are new ones and new documets from your marriage!.. :) hope this helps

You won't need to retake the medical as all of the paperwork from your medical is in the brown envelope that the CBP officers at your POE forwarded to the USCIS.

Did you not keep an original or certified copy of your birth certificate and police certificate, etc? You should always keep an original and/or a copy of everything you submit.
