Packet 3 - Sent but not received

I sent my packet 3 forms to the Embassy on 31-08-10. Special delivery confirmed that this arrived at the embassy the following day 1-09-10.

I have been expecting my interview letter in the post this week.

Today i received a letter saying they have received nothing from me yet, and wanted to know if i intend to continue with my application.

What's going on?!

It did take me about 5 week to return packet 3 originally, is it likely this letter was gernerated some weeks ago (dated 20-09-10) or is that just wih ful thinking?!

What do I do now? Resend PAcket 3 again and wait and HOPE to see if they get it this time!?

London Embassy.

It seems like London are messing up quite a bit lately!...

Your best bet is to call the Embassy...

I had the same problem only i didn't receive anything... After over 4 weeks of waiting and 2 calls to the embassy we were given a code to email.

I received an email saying they never received my packet 3 when i knew they had cos someone signed for it the day after i sent it!

Anyway they said i could email all my forms to them....

Surprise surprise! The same day they emailed me with an interview date so i'm guessing they found the forms that they claimed they had never received!

Our packet 3 was also apparently lost after we sent it middle of August. We just had to scan our packet and send it through email to the embassy with a special code that they gave us. Hopefully we will get our interview date soon. Were you able to call the embassy to see if they received your packet?

No, they wouldnt talk to me until it has been 4 weeks, so one more to go. Phone call only cost me £15 to find that out!

Quick question, i have a copy of the packet 3 i sent in but i didnt scan the passport photos.. Did your scan include the passport pics?

No we didn't add those with the scans. I'm not even sure my fiancé sent those with the original packet... Were those supposed to go in?

Nevermind we did include those with the original packet. Hopefully they'll just be found somewhere or I'll scan them tomorrow

We actually received our interview date for October 15th yesterday, so I guess there is a slight bonus to them losing your packet because you will know your interview date almost immediately.

K-1 packet received: April 26, 2010

The same thing happened to me, someone signed for my P3 but apparently London have never received it (my fault not theirs of course!) Eventually i called the Embassy and was told they never received P3 and to email the London Embassy all the forms. I received an interview date via email a couple of weeks later. Wait for the 4 weeks and then call London again.

P3 is packet 3... It's not actually a packet but a letter you receive from the embassy once they have your approved petition from NVC... It contains a link to the embassy website where the forms are to download, fill in and send to them.
