Hello everyone just want to ask some questions i already got my green card today ( Permanent Residence) and it said it will expires after 2 years?

Is everyone had the same expiration? Is it after 2 years? What should i do if this will expires? Renew it? how much? is there any guide here on what should i do before this will expire? I just want to know so i can be ready by that time.I'm glad i got it now same as my kids GC.

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

You and your kids adjusted status as K1 and K2, so the green cards they issued to all of you are conditional, good for 2 years (since you have been married for less than 2 years).

90 days before your green card expires, you have to file for Lifting of Conditions/Removal of Conditions (ROC). It is another process you must undergo so your conditional green cards will be replaced with 10 year green cards.

You can check the VJ Guides on what you have to prepare for ROC (you have 21 months from the time your conditional green cards were issued). Fees for ROC are $545 per person.
