Needing help ..

I was recently barred for 3 years for entering the US due to my last visit when in the US my boyfriend had a heart attack and so I stayed to help him till he got better.then I returned home back to Canada ..and when I went to vist him again I was denied and told to apply for a wavier and that I stayed 6 months to long. any good advise out there that may help me be able to go for a visit .. we were planing on marrying in the future and I was gona work along side of him with his bussniess that hes had for over 20 years. but now this doesnt look so promising cause even if we went ahead and got married does this mean he has to come here to marry me ? and then what happens after word ?? help pls!!!

I am reasonably sure you will have to file a waiver before you'd be allowed back into the US because of your overstay. Waivers can take anywhere up to a year to process and cost $545.00.

I *think* because you are banned from entering the US, he will have to come to Canada if y'all decide to get married, unless you wait out that 3 years.

Sorry, I'm not that much of a help, I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will come along to advise you.

Good luck!

What codes were written into your passport when you were denied? What paperwork were you given?

Likely, he'll have to come to Canada to marry you. You may file the K-1 fiance visa which does not require him to travel anywhere
