Confusion woth Vaccination Requirements

I am here on a K1 visa and I am applying for an Adjustment of Status. I am confused by the vaccination requirements. My Form DS-3025 (the vaccination worksheet) states that "Vaccination history is complete. All requirements met" ... however it also shows that the vaccinations for Varicella and influenza were not available. Does anyone know if they will require me to have these two vaccinations now that I am in the US and applying for adjustment of status.

Thank you

If it isn't flu season, they don't give you the influenza shot, and if you have had chicken pox, the varicella shot is also not given (because it is the vaccine against chicken pox).

You still need your DS-3025 information transcribed into the I-1693 form.

This can all depend on which CS you have to transcribe your information

The one I used wanted a letter of confirmation from my Doctor in England regarding chicken pox in the end is was quicker and easier just for me to get the Varicella vaccination. I also had to have a Hep A & B vaccination as the state I live in was a high risk state for Hep A & B.

But some CS will just be happy with the paperwork you have and will take verbal confirmation on the chicken pox and transcribe the information for you and you will not need the flu vaccination. I recommend calling round a few CS and seeing which can offer you the best price and service :)

As your DS--3025 is marked complete you DO NOT need to complete an I-693. Send a copy of the DS-3025 and you will be fine (well for immunisations anyway).

If you are truly concerned, you CAN see a CS and ask them to transcribe your vaccinations into an I-693. This way you'll know if you're all good.

Honestly though, no matter which way you do it, you might STILL get an RFE because sometimes they stuff things up. I would personally send the DS-3025 and if you get an RFE, deal with it then.

Good luck!!
