Hi!

I just received from NVC an email that says the following:

The U.S. Embassy/Consulate General has accepted this case as an expedite. This file will be immediately forwarded to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General. Any further questions regarding processing or the interview appointment date should be directed to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General.

That is really good, but We didn't request our case to be expedite. I think they made a mistake. Im trying to call NVC now, but they are really busy. Also our case is close to be completed (I guess!), we already paid everything and we'll send the AOS package and IV package tomorrow morning.

If they expedite my case we'll be happy, if the made a mistake, Im worried that they could delay everything. What do you think?????

thats really weird if they are forwarding it right away since you havent even finished the IV and AOS packages.. makes me wonder if it was a mistake because dont you need that part finished to continue to the embassy for the interview?

I just called and the rep told me that they received a letter stating that the case should be sent to the Santo Domingo embassy. She told me we shouldn't send any package to NVC because the case would be in transit to my country by the time they receive the packages, I'm still worried I will have to call back again. It seems to be a normal process but I am not sure.

THANKS TO MY GOD FOR THIS!

The thing is that we declared our kid at embassy here and the officer get surprise cause our case have almost 3 years. She take some notes in her computer and after that the case was moving faster, after been stuck at USCIS. Now we remember that. Incredible ah! So now the NVC says that the consulate requested to expedite the case. But Im also thinking thaT my husband pay 5oo bucks to a lawyer that didn't do anything. OMG :innocent:
