I am fanatical about Dolphins and don't think for a second that they are not highly intelligent creatures. They are truly amazing animals!

Manger said that in aquariums, dolphins were usually kept in uncovered pools because they were not smart enough to think of jumping into a neighbouring enclosure.

And there I was thinking that it was bcos they needed to come up for air. I am not at all experienced in this arena (I have never been to an aquarium. Have only seen it on television) but are these pools usually covered?
