The average person waits 5 months for processing before they receive an NOA2... and that's if you don't receive an RFE in between or experience other delays in your timeline.

you could call to see that wouldnt hurt anything but it looks like approvals are running at about 3 months plus. Just dont be disappointed when they tell you that your paperwork is not outside the processing time of 5months. As far as the website they update it...its just not guranteed to be updated if that makes sense to you. some people have gotten approvals and never have gotten there status updated on the website....GOOD LUCK

My NOA date is 7/29 and no update yet. It is way too early. I think we can expect something around November.

The other poster is correct, there are so many postings about this I myself have one also.. I filed end of May, NOA1 dated June 2nd and my papers have been touched twice (June 15 and August 17) and I have heard nothing.. Things seem to be moving very slowly (I filed in California).. All I really know is that it is running in the 5 month mark, so I have until end of October, first week in November.. I have called California and was told they are processing within their 5 month timeline (as stated on the uscis.gov website).. I am so sad and frustrated.. Good luck to you and good luck to all of us waiting!

I filed on June 1. My NOA1 came on June 8, and we just had an approved interview on Friday in London. There's no way of knowing how long your process will take. You can't really make any plans until it's over, because it could take 3 months, it could take 8. I'm sorry.

I'm pretty certain that most people just dont continue here or fill out their timelines to the end. Many months are like that on the timelines. Personally, I'm shooting for our NOA2 around the 100 day mark.

This is realistic and if it gets here sooner, then I have a suprise!

It will do no good to contact USCIS if in their system it states processinbg time is say 5 months and you contact then prior to 5 months of your NOA1 date. They will just tell you to call back when you are at the 5 months.

I know you may not like to hear this but Be Patient. I and many know it is difficult to be patient. My NOA2 came 5 months and 2 days after the NOA1 date. :crying:
