Bringing my baby to the US

I have a greencard ( conditional ) and in the process of removing the conditions.

I got divorced a few months ago because if ny ex husband's infidelity and am now pregnant with my current american BF. I am getting care/living in Canada right now without my bf( i didn't want to be left without healthcare in the US). I am wondering how complex it will be and what i need to do to get the child into the US so we can be with my bf ( and baby's father ) once he is born.

I know I need to get all of his canadian things situated before I go. But what do I need to do to get the baby set up in america ( since the father is american)

when the baby is born if born in canada before your interview, the father needs to visit and apply for a consular birth abroad. The baby will be american, born in canada and can get an american passport through the father filing this at the embassy after the birth.

Nope father has to be present for filing the paperwork.
