Being realistic is not being pessimistic. Of course the OP is welcome to try whatever they'd like. But they should know what the probable outcome will be. No sense in getting someone's hopes up.

You coulda said that since the begin instead of NO YOU DON'T QUALIFY ,If you are wise you woulda said You can try but you have a little chance .

Sam

I am wise. He doesn't qualify. He can try. K-1s are specifically NOT eligible for expedite cases. Period. The fact that he is filing a K-1 disqualifies him. Period. Your lack of knowledge of the facts does not change that. Saying otherwise is not "smart" and does not "give hope" It gives false impressions. Am I clear? If someone is insulted by the facts or takes the facts to be a "personal attack" it is their problem, not mine.

They occasionally make EXCEPTIONS to the RULE. Generally those are for military members about to deploy to COMBAT areas. "About to deploy" means that they will be deployed before the petition and visa would otherwise be processed normally. There have been a FEW, very few, exceptions granted for a FIANCEE for medical reasons. I am not sure what they could be or why. I do not see a reason to expedite this case as the person obviously has other sources of care...or he would die. He does not "need" his nurse fiancee to survive. But I do not make these decisions, hence my advice..."you can try". Why not?

Also, since the normal processing time of I-129f's has varied from 1 month to 1 year + it becomes impossible for someone to say if their case was "expedited" unless they have the reciept which says "priority date xx/xx/xxxx" I have one on my son's AOS. AOS IS eligible for expedite...I-129f is not.

As I stated in my first response...he is not eligible. He can try. Good luck.

Call them, talk to someone, and just ask. It can't hurt, they can basically say NO or to put in an application for it. I personally asked to be expedited due to military deployment of next year, and they expedited my visa. It took only about 2 months to reach the embassy and all I have left is to set an interview date.

What can it hurt to ask? You can always try to persuade em, but ultimately it's up to them in the end.

Your case is totally different than the OP's (and well documented as to be expeditable).

All the can say is no. I do not see the downside.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Well something else the OP should think about......How will the Manila Embassy view this expedition request?

The Embassy CO will have knowledge of the circumstances of the request and that may weigh in during the interview.

Remember that USCIS's approval is only the first step in the process; obtaining approval from the Embassy CO is another (and they are empowered to act on their own and make their own decision).

Be very careful for what you ask for.

Well true, my message though is just call and find out, it takes maybe 15 minutes to get an answer once you get past the machines :)

USCIS isn't going to make a decision, yes or no, over the phone in 15 minutes.

They would need to submit the request in writing and wait.
