What hours are homeland security open?

Hi VJs,

I just wondered if anybody knew what hours homeland security are open? Are they open at the weekend or it is not worth keep checking our online status then? What hours are they open during the day and are there any particularly days everything gets "pushed"?

When you constantly refresh the USCIS website to see if you're getting any closer

When it repays you with the love of your life

When God finally answered your biggest prayer

When you can live life again in the real world but still have that eternal connection

When you wake up for to the beginning of the rest of your life with the person you fought so hard for

When you love somebody that much

You'll do anything

Good question!!! If they are closed on the weekend then i can go get some shopping done :lol:

Out of curiosity, why do want to know? How could you check your status on their site? :huh:

3/24/11 Received 10 year Green Card in the mail - Done. Feels good :-) 'till we do this again for US Citizenship.

12/5/11 mailed packet for Naturalization

12/9/11 was received by USCIS.

4/6/12 received letter for fingerprint appn.

4/23/12 9am fingerprint appointment - done :-)

4/30/12 Recieved Letter for Interview - Sche. 5/31

5/31/12 Interview & Testing

5/31/12 Testing Approved - Waiting for next step

6/21/12 Rcvd email, placed application in the oath sched. que :-)

6/25/12 Rcvd letter - Oath Ceremony is on 7/11/12 @ 9:15am :-)

Its a government business office. They work five 8 hour days. They may have some kind of flex-time schedule and work for 9 hour days with a day off every two weeks. But they will be open during normal business hours 5 days a week.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

You can check your case status on there website :yes: But you can get a bit obsessive with checking like me...

Here you go:

Check Your Case Status

You need to register and log in and add your case receipt number to the portfolio so you can get emails. After you log in you can also set it up so you can recieve e-mail messages if theres any changes made. I believe most recieve NOA2 in an email/by checking the website before it comes to them in the mail :thumbs:

RFE's at the CSC generally take 2-4 weeks for an update.

2005

Sept 10 I-129F sent to TSC

2006

Interview - February 13th APPROVED! day 152

April 6 - wedding date day 204

Aug 22 - AOS interview date day 101-total days 342

Sept 29 - green card arrives, done until June 2008 day 140-total days 381

2008

June 30 - I-751 mailed total days 1025

2009

March 9 - Removal of Conditions approved! total days 1277
