Hi, i just wanted to know, my husband had a interview on july 19 at the bogota embassy and he got his visa approved, they told us that they were going to give him the visa in about 6 days..now its been 2 months and he still hasnt got anything, so we called the embassy and they said that he is in process administrative, they had told us that his identity was stolen, so they are investigating that..but they dont tell us exactly when he will get the visa ...does anyone know if they had this kind of problem or know any information about it..i want to know how much longer my husband has to wait..he already waited 2 months..i really need him here..please

If his identity really was stolen... you might be waiting a really long time depending on how bad the identity theft was. More importantly your husband should know about his identity theft... Thats a big problem to deal with.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

you should be contacting the Embassy's IV Unit.

You, the USC Spouse.

is some chaos now, 'additional processing' vs 'identity theft'

also call DOS Hotline (# in my profile, left panel), get a Human, inquire for case status.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
