We got the letter to go online and schedule my fiance's appointment yesterday. It took all of 5 minutes. They tell you exactly what to do in the letter- and it is quite easy and painless. But...in the information packet you print out with your confirmation it doesn't say anything about your fiance being allowed to accompany you to the interview. According to the embassy info on this site the fiance can go- but the appointment confirmation letter says just the opposite. It also says not to arrive more than 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment (which is at 8:30 AM)- but on this site it says to get there as early as possible. At a loss as to what to do. Could use some feedback here on what others have done recently. I hope we are not at the beginning of new procedures and have to throw out all the advice we have garnered here :(
