Please help me answer these quetions on I-864 I will list them by number on the form.

21. When calculating household size if you enter the number of persons you are sponsoring on line 21a it include your spouse if you then put 1 in line 21c you have entered them twice. Therefore do you leave 21c blank?

Part 3 question 9. I am sponsoring 2 stepkids that will immigrate at the same time. Question 9 says do not include any relative listed on a seperate petition. I have filed an I-130 for each my wife and 2 stepkids. Therefore do I list the kids on 9a and would I list the mother and sibling on the childs I-864? On line 10 if I add them I would then have the correct number of immigrants I am sponsoring which would be 3.

My I-130 was approved on 09-16-2010 when should I call NVC to receive a case#?

Thanks for the help.

Hi i have also the same question. In I-864 item#21 c is , "If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse".Now if somebody is sponsoring his/her spouse then should we have to write '1' in 21c again?? Because we have already wrote '1' in 21a. PLz if somebody has experience then help us. Thanks a lot. You can visit below link for I-864.

Hello

In question 21 C it does not apply to neither of you because it is under ( Persons Not Sponsored in this Affidavit ),

so you fill it in only in case your spouse is not the one who you are filing the affidavit for.

Good Luck

Call NVC Frequently like everyday no problem, once they recieved your case from USCIS they will assign the number and they will provide it to you

About The step kids question i am not exactly sure, so someone else might give you the advice for that part

Thanks for the help.

In your case, 21 c will be blank.

This is the I-864 instruction: "Often a spouse or minor children obtain visas or adjust statusas dependents of a relative, based on the same visa petition. Ifyou are sponsoring such dependents, you only need to providea photocopy of the original Form I-864, as long as thesedependents are immigrating at the same time as the principalimmigrant or within six months of the time he or sheimmigrates to the United States. You do not need to providecopies of the supporting documents for each of thephotocopied Forms I-864"

So, Part3 Q9 - you may include all of them (wife and stepkids). Then with you it will be a total of 4.

I would recommend to fill 1 form, print out 2 more (for each stepkid) of the same and sign all the 3.

Loto
