AP is not a big deal, when its come to pakistan. AP for females are short but also can be longer. When case is in AP its a waiting game there is no one can help. My father was on AP for about 7 months.... Goodluck.

Unfortunately terrorism is practiced by both sexes and if you are from a terrorism tagged country you will go through extra checks. How long they take is dependent on how many hits you get in the databases. They more flags they have to clear the longer the AP.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Dear Muskangirl,

Unlike soocer player, i would ask you not to contact FBI directly. It may have bad impact on your case as they do not deal with individuals only embassies or USCIS. So you may either want to DOS or embassy. This is a sincere advise.

I totally agree with Bond. I have not heard of anyone contacting FBI directly to check the status of their AP. You can have your local congressman or Senator check into your case.

Good luck !

Now it has been more then 5 months since I am in AP. Any other females in AP, please share experience

I have a quick question. Did the female in AP has travelled to europe ? or any where else ? Or is there a prev marriage. I know of one person who had lived in UK and was put on AP for a year - it was a K-1 visa. Can you think any reason why would they want to do another check ?
