Hello,

I'm from Morocco, I'm selected for further processing in the Diversity Immigrant Visa program for the fiscal year 2011. and I have sent the envelope which contains the DSP-122 and DS-230 (Parts I & II) within my two pictures to Kentucky Consular Center two months ago but I didn't receive anything yet.

May I know what is the limited date to accept visa for a DV2011 selected ?

DV lottery will notify people and process winners until they reach the visa quota. The select an excess number of winning entries because many people don't meet the requirements for education or can't find a US sponsor. If they asked for your information there is a good chance they are still processing applications to get to the DV visa limits. No visa process ever moves quickly.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Fiscal year 2011 for US Government starts on October 1 2010 and lasts until September 30 2011. Before October you will not be notified on any further steps. Depending on how low or high your assigned number is you can expect to be called in for interview.

Since you are in Africa, this is what it says for DV lottery - from visa bulletin:

C. ADVANCE NOTIFICATION OF THE DIVERSITY (DV) IMMIGRANT CATEGORY RANK CUT-OFFS WHICH WILL APPLY IN OCTOBER

For October, immigrant numbers in the DV category are available to qualified DV-2011 applicants chargeable to all regions/eligible countries as follows. When an allocation cut-off number is shown, visas are available only for applicants with DV regional lottery rank numbers BELOW the specified allocation cut-off number:

Region All DV Chargeability Areas Except Those Listed Separately AFRICA 9,000 Except:

Egypt 5,550

Ethiopia 7,450
