hey vj's i got ma green card....its so fast that it took only 20 days from POE..and i got ma DL too...THANK GOD:)

Dumb question but you need a GC before applying for a drivers license, correct?

Some states will allow to convert IDP to state license with written test only. They can produce passport and some other picture id. NJ is example.

I showed ma "passport GC Stamp" and "SSC" in DVM for license in Texas... :thumbs:

SSC in 11 days from POE

DL in 13 days from POE

GC in 20 days from POE :thumbs:
