Howdy everyone,

Tien's had her initial CR1 interview on August 6th and got blue for ex-husbands address, timeline, and notarized history of where I have lived in the last 10 years.

We gathered that information, and for good measure I contacted my Senator as well. We submitted the information on September 7th and got pink. We picked up the visa one week later, and are flying to the US in the morning. (I flew to Saigon for blue sheet response).

I want to thank everyone for all the helpful information you share. I also wanted to let you know I think things are changing for the better at the consulate. I stood outside the day she went, and saw quite a few happy faces coming out. Tien noticed alot of pinks when she was waiting inside. Prior to going inside, I noticed the majority of the sheets around us were green, not blue, which I think is a good sign.

The new guy is making some progress, so everyone please hang in there. We had quite a few red flags to overcome, so it can be done :)

Excellent - congratulations! As someone with anxiety as our K-1 interview date is rapidly approaching on the 27th, I also appreciate your comments on the consulate.

At last some good news! I think we (Peter & Hanh) are next for the interview. Our appointment is Oct.6th. I am flying to VN on Oct.1st to help if I can. We could not get an appointment for her medical exam until after the interview, so I guess we will get a blue for that! Very frustrating! We wish you all the luck in the world for a good result.

If at all possible, I would like to know how it went for you.

I think Scott said you can do a walk-in at Cho Ray if you get there early in the morning, and maybe come across with a little coffee money. Any chance you could go to HCMC a few days before the interview and give it a shot?
